KeepWards Block
Business
The KeepWards Block edition for companies. Pornography always blocked, and IT chooses the other categories, such as social networks. The employee can't undo it; only the authenticated administrator adjusts the rules.
Coming soon.
The promise of the block.
A company buys to reduce risk and distraction, not to watch people. The edition was designed to block categories, not to read what each person does.
What the employee can't do
They can't turn off the block, uninstall the agent, change the DNS or switch on a VPN to get around it on managed machines. The rules are adjusted by the administrator, with a second factor.
Where protection works
On machines and devices under management and on the company network. The block works by category and by address, and the full conditions are in the Terms of use.
What IT controls.
This edition arrives soon. Below, what it will do.
-
01
Categories
Pornography stays always on. IT switches on social networks (like Instagram), games, streaming, betting and others, by group.
-
02
Groups and roles
Organization, device groups and administrator, operator and reader roles, with a mandatory second factor.
-
03
Bulk deployment
Install on many machines at once, without going computer by computer.
-
04
Reports and auditing
Totals by group and by category, and a log of who changed each rule. No individual browsing by default.
Loosening a rule has a lock.
In a company, a stolen administrator account is the biggest risk. That is why unblocking is harder than blocking.
-
01
Administrator request
The change comes from the console, never from the employee's computer.
-
02
Second factor
The administrator confirms it's them, on top of the password.
-
03
Waiting period and notice
A waiting period before it takes effect, and a notice to all administrators.
-
04
Applied and logged
The rule changes and stays in the audit log. Blocking takes effect immediately.
