One engine, three editions.

The block is the same in all three. What changes is who has the power to adjust it after installation, and that defines who each edition is for.

Who controls the block.

The question that separates the three editions. Everything not in this table is the same: the same engine, the same list, the same rule of never unblocking on failure.

What is the same in all three

With no new list or no internet, the program keeps the last list and never unblocks on failure. Banks, health services, government and the review request site are never blocked. Every bypass attempt triggers an alert and a trace, and no personal data goes into logs.

What changes with an administrator

In Family and Business, only the authenticated guardian can loosen a rule, with a second factor and a waiting period, and all administrators are notified. The child's or employee's device has no way to issue that command.

Four fronts, one engine.

The same policy on your computer, phone and network. Each front uses a different technique.

  1. 01

    Windows protected service

A service that watches the policy and restores anything changed from outside: hosts, DNS and the settings that are usually the first target.

  2. 02

    Android Device Owner

The device is registered as administrator: uninstalling stops working, private DNS stays fixed and the VPN can't be turned off. Tested on an emulator.

  3. 03

    Router OpenWrt · DNS

A driver that filters DNS across the whole network and locks alternative ports. The router only downloads the list and never accepts outside connections.

  4. 04

    iPhone supervised filter

Supervised filter, within what Apple allows.
